Freeform Knit and Crochet
Make a purse, shawl, vest or sweater using freeform knit and crochet.  In this class, you will design your project and will leave the class with instruction for the completion of your project.  Freeform knit and crochet are a great ways to use stash yarns or to stretch just a few skeins of special yarns in combination with complimentary yarns.
 

Linear Knitting
Linear knitting allows you to combine color and texture to construct a garment using "log cabin" or garter stitch knitting.  You will design your project, begin construction and leave the class with instructions to compete your project.  This technique allows you to combine color, weight and textured yarns for a unique look.
 

Mitered Squares

Learn to make squares, either mitered or using linear knitting techniques.  Squares can be made in any size, so you can complete a simple pillow for a started project, or make a spectacular Crayon Box Jacket, a throw or unique jacket using these techniques.  Check out some of the sample in the store for design ideas.

Entertaining Entrelac
Entrelac is the art of knitting in rows, on square at a time.  You can make a beautiful vest, shawl, sweater or throw using Entrelac techniques.  If you have never tried Entrelac, this class will expand your knitting repertoire!  Check out the sweater and afghan on display for ideas.

Finished at Last
Have you completed the knitting or crochet of a sweater, shawl, skirt, afghan or any garment and felt it needed a little something more?  Bring your garment or finished pieces to this class.  Looking at an array of finishing options, you will plan and begin the finishing and embellishments to enhance your garment.  To get some design ideas, look at the shawls, crayon box sweaters and felted bags for ideas that suit you!

Materials:  A garment to finish AND put together OR some knitted or crocheted washcloths or squares to join and/or embellish.

Garter Stitch Cardigan
Make a great cardigan using only Knit stitches.  This class is great for those who want to move past the scarf.  The Einstein Coat or jacket or just a basic garter stitch jacket is an easy way to learn garment shaping using one yarn or multiple yarns.

Socks, Socks, and More Socks
Looking at all the new sock yarns (yes, even Noro and Prism make sock yarns!) will make you want to start a pair.  Learn how using double points or circular neeldes (either one or two).  Socks are a great carry-along project for travel, too!

Tunisian Crochet Afghan
Learn Tunisian Crochet (afghan stitch) using a size S crochet hook and yarns from your stash combined with new yarns to make a quick spectacular afghan!  This is a fast project which allows you to complete a baby afghan, a throw or a large afghan in just a few weeks.  These make perfect and quick handmade gifts!

SPECIAL NOTE:  Classes and Workshops are limited in size and fill up quickly.  Class fees must be paid in full at the time of registration.  SUPPLIES ARE ADDITIONAL AND MUST BE PURCHASED FROM THE CRAFTY LADY TRIO.  Missed classes cannot be made up; however, if we must cancel a class due to instructor illness, bad weather, etc., an additional class will be held.

NO CHILDREN may be brought to the store during your class time.   Most children are well behaved; however, small children may be disruptive to the other members of your class.  Please make day care arrangements for your children.
